Vancouver Cocktail Week events and bar takeovers at L’Abattoir!

We’re excited to be hosting a Vancouver Cocktail Week collaboration dinner with Esquimalt Vermouth and Apéritifs in our Private Dining Room on Thursday, March 9th! Esquimalt’s owner Quinn Palmer will bring his craft to pair alongside the culinary expertise of Chef Lee Cooper. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Esquimalt’s Vermouths and Apéritifs with each course. This is a rare chance to experience the magic of locally-made vermouth and enjoy the creative beverages that can be crafted with it.

 

On Wednesday, March 8th we’re looking forward to welcoming Simon Ford of award-winning, Fords Gin to a cocktail paired dinner during Vancouver Cocktail Week. Bar Manager Dave Bulters, will be preparing elevated cocktails to pair alongside a multi-course menu which will be served in our Private Dining Room. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet this celebrated maker!

 

On Tuesday, March 7th, renowned bartender Kaitlyn Stewart will be kicking off Vancouver Cocktail Week at L’Abattoir with a bar takeover from 5pm to 7pm. Kaitlyn is known for her innovative cocktail creations and won the 2017 Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year. Join us in celebrating Vancouver Cocktail Week and experience the skills of a World Class bartender as well as the delicious cocktails that come from her artistry. Kaitlyn’s cocktails will be available at the bar or in the dining room that evening.

 

We’re thrilled to be participating in Vancouver Cocktail Week’s Cinq à Sept program from Tuesday, March 7th through Saturday March 11th from 5pm to 7pm at our bar. Our team will be featuring cocktails that highlight the botanicals found in Tanqueray No.10. The feature cocktails for the week will be offered alongside half priced starters at the bar. Our bar seating is always first come, first served, so come early to avoid disappointment.

 

On February 28th, Soren Schepkowski of Wind Cries Mary will join L’Abattoir Bar Manager Dave Bulters to bring his signature cocktails from their Victoria establishment to our cocktail list for the evening. Bar seating is first come, first served so arrive early to indulge in expertly crafted libations drawing inspiration from ingredients found throughout the Pacific Northwest. Partial proceeds from each cocktail sold will go towards our friends at the BC Hospitality Foundation.
