Honolulu Coffee Introduces Two Special Creations for the 2023 Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival

Honolulu Coffee is excited to once again take part in the city’s month-long celebration of the ultimate wintertime treat during the annual Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival.

Always one of the festival’s most popular participants, this year Honolulu Coffee has crafted two whimsical and tantalizing creations set to whisk Vancouverites away for a sweet escape:

The Donut – A donut-shaped hot chocolate using 70% dark chocolate mixed with a single shot of espresso and finished with a sea salt cream cheese frosty topping. (Can be made decaf, but cannot be non-dairy). The drink is paired with a donut-shaped fudge chocolate cake glazed with refreshing raspberry icing. $11. Available for the entirety of the festival.

Raincouver – You’ll know you’re in Vancouver when you see this fun, 70% dark hot chocolate with pink Himalayan salt melting a cloud of suspended cotton candy. It’s raining! $9.50. Available starting January 20.

Taking place from January 14 to February 14, 2023, the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival brings together cafés across the region offering unique limited-edition hot chocolate and dessert pairing creations to sweeten up the season. All three of Honolulu Coffee’s Vancouver locations will be offering their specialty hot chocolates, including their newest café, located along False Creek in Olympic Village.

“We are always thrilled to take part in the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival and challenge ourselves to come up with new and unique offerings,” says Ming Yang, owner of all three Honolulu Coffee locations in Vancouver. “We are delighted to welcome everyone to come try the two playful and delicious hot chocolates we’ve created for this year’s festival.”
