Savoury City Releases New Catering Menus for the Return of Holiday Party Season

SAVOURY CITY RELEASES NEW MENUS FOR THE RETURN OF HOLIDAY PARTIES

New Holiday Catering Menus Include Stand-up Soirées, Sit-down Buffets, and Treats for a Very Sweet Finish

With days getting shorter and a new crispness in the air, thoughts are turning toward December and our first post-pandemic holiday season. This year, seasonal celebrations are back in a big way, and Savoury City Catering is here to help with just-released holiday catering menus for 2022.

Holiday hosts throwing a stand-up soirée will take top marks with Savoury City’s menu of Holiday Canapés, featuring delicious bites like Miso-Glazed Salmon served on a tasting spoon and topped with bubu arare, yuzu and lime zest; bite-sized English-style Pork Pies, Steelhead Rillettes served with trout caviar; Croustillants with whipped Boursin and poached pear, and many more.

If a full sit-down meal for the office is on the wishlist, Savoury City’s Holiday Turkey Buffet is sure to fill the bill. Delivered hot between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, the buffet includes the main attraction and all the fixings: slow roasted sliced turkey breast, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized butternut squash stuffing, maple-glazed baby carrots, roasted brussels sprouts with crispy fried onions, wildflower honey-roasted beets, citrus cranberry sauce, and classic gravy.

For a perfect finish, the Holiday Sweets and Macarons menus can be added to either stand-up or buffet celebrations, or if the party is simply a sweet celebration, either menu can be ordered as a standalone. The Savoury City pastry chef’s Holiday Sweets selection includes favourites such as sugar cookies, gingerbreads, shortbreads, salted honey tarts, mincemeat tarts, pumpkin tarts, butter tarts, maple walnut cheesecake bars, chocolate bark, Florentines, and financiers. Macaron flavours include salted caramel, spiced chocolate, lavender, black tea, and cranberry orange.

Finally, for a smaller gathering or a special winter feast at home, Savoury City is bringing back its traditional Québecois Tourtière — a double-crusted, classic Québec pork and beef pie with spices and herbs — available to order fresh or frozen for pick-up until December 23.
