LIQUIDITY – MERLOT 2019
A bold and full-bodied with heady aromas and flavours of plum, cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant, leather, cocoa, baking spice and licorice, all leading to a long and satisfying finish. The sultry wine is perfect for sipping with a loved one over a candlelit dinner, ideally grilled T-bone steak, rack of lamb, margherita pizza or beef stew.
2019 Liquidity Merlot 100% merlot only 770 Cases produced. Beautiful bright red fruits burst on the nose, with hints of toasty vanilla sprinkled in. Chocolatey chalky tannins are complimented by juicy acidity and luscious red fruit flavours. Each individual block of Merlot was picked at its optimal ripeness and fermented separately in small open top fermenters. After 25 days on skins and gentle cap management, the wine had come to the perfect balance of tannins and fruit concentration and was carefully pressed and put to barrel. After spending 16 months in French oak, the wine was bottled and spent 10 months in bottle before being released.

ALOIS LAGEDER PINOT GRIGIO – PORER
The colour is straw-yellow with a red shimmer. On the nose slightly aromatic, pronounced bouquet, fruity (melone, peach) spicy, mineral. On the palate rich and quite oppulent, lively, fresh, fruit and dry. Drinking window in 2 to 6 years.

SAUVIGNON BLANC – MATUA HAWKES BAY
Passion fruit and gooseberry come to the fore on the nose, backed up with hints of lime leaf. The palate is textural and richly layered with lemon and grapefruit flavours. There is a lovely minerality on the finish, which is classic of the wines Hawkes Bay origins, and makes the wine even more refreshing.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON – ST HUBERT’S THE STAG PASO ROBLES
The 2021 is deeply hued with a shimmering dark ruby, amethyst tone, notes of vanilla on the nose alongside ripe red berry fruits. On the palate, smooth tannins lead to a full-bodied darker fruit profile with layers of black cherry, and cassis, complimented by exotic spiced notes of nutmeg. This Cabernet is easily enjoyed now and will continue to soften over time, creating more suppleness and intriguing nuance.

PINOT NOIR – COOPER AND THIEF
